We visited the gardens - during a beautiful, dappled sunshiny afternoon - on September 4th 2024 ...... & were absolutely delighted with the rich tapestry of colourful planting & beautifully maintained landscape that welcomed us. It was like stepping into a favourite painting, but - better than that - it was alive and vibrant with the air of being totally loved & cared-for by the artistic gardeners. We were lucky enough to chat with Rachel, whose enthusiasm for working there shone through in the plants she was tending & were rewarded with a knowledge of plant information we could take home with us. Beautifully kept grounds which include a 12th Century parish church and some wonderful topiary. The walled garden section is beautiful with some flower beds and some kitchen garden use. The village hall a joy to behold and a return to the 1950s style of village hall so many of the older generation remember well.
