We visited the gardens - during a beautiful, dappled sunshiny afternoon - on September 4th 2024 ...... & were absolutely delighted with the rich tapestry of colourful planting & beautifully maintained landscape that welcomed us. It was like stepping into a favourite painting, but - better than that - it was alive and vibrant with the air of being totally loved & cared-for by the artistic gardeners. We were lucky enough to chat with Rachel, whose enthusiasm for working there shone through in the plants she was tending & were rewarded with a knowledge of plant information we could take home with us. We can honestly say we've never visited a more tranquil & beautifully kept garden & look forward to visiting again when the house is open, too.

We visited this garden after visiting its near neighbour in Cranbourne and were amazed at the difference. Beautifully kept grounds which include a 12th Century parish church and some wonderful topiary. The walled garden section is beautiful with some flower beds and some kitchen garden use. The gardener was very friendly and very willing to answer questions. Unfortunately the garden is only open Wednesday and Sunday afternoons in the Summer months, but I would recommend a visit.

My partner and I had a wonderful tour of the grounds, house and gardens from Julia as part of a potential wedding venue viewing. I fell in love with the outstanding beauty, huge space, history, well maintained lawns and gardens. Julia is so welcoming and accommodating, incredible asset to this amazing venue. This beautiful manor must be appreciated in person, I look forward to returning!

Will definitely return when summer growth kicks off. The entrance charge of £4 is greatly appreciated by so many who don't have deep pockets. The village hall a joy to behold and a return to the 1950s style of village hall so many of the older generation remember well. And the spread of sandwiches and cakes a feast to behold and beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent value for money and well worth a visit. We...
