Either really unlucky on my first visit or don't bother visiting here. A very disappointing experience.
Attended during Easter holidays. I have a 5 and a 3 year old. My issue is that children can only go on main jump area from 4 years old. You then have a dilemma. You can't let one child go on main area and one stay in soft play. Toddler takeover session was not available during our required times.
Booked for soft play for both and boy was it underwhelming! For a trampolining park, the soft play is incredibly basic. If anything, I would say it is extremely babyish. The online description says that the children get access to mini jump but when I asked staff where this was, I was told that this refers to two small trampolines on the top which are approximately one foot wide and are not very bouncy. This was a real disappointment since you get better trampolines and ball pits at standard soft play's.
For those that are unaware, the soft play is located right next to a large bouncy castle slide which soft play users are unable to use. Talk about teasing kids!
On top of this all, parking is a nightmare. Took 15 minutes to find anywhere to park, then another 15 minutes to check-in and this was followed by a further 15 minutes trying to find a table round the soft play. Therefore LOST HALF THE SESSION. In regards to parking, Jump In is in the middle of nowhere with other local warehouse businesses attached. You have no choice but to park in their allocated bays even though they have signs up telling you not to. Bays are also very narrow.
In addition, no one was cleaning and staff were nowhere to be seen. The floor was full of spilt food and drinks. My 3 year old ended up with soaked socks because of this.
I also ordered a drink and this arrived after 20 minutes. 20 MINUTES TO BRING A DRINK TO TABLE.
Lastly, no one was monitoring wrist bands and it seemed a bit of a free for all environment with no enforcement of allocated slots.
In summary do not bother attending solely for the soft play offering as it is simply...
Read moreWow! This new trampoline adventure park is amazing!
We chose to do a jump and climb session which allowed us to experience the 2 different areas of the park. The climbing area had more diverse equipment than other climbing centres we have visited. Staff member Adam assisted the kids. He did a brilliant job at encouraging and engaging the less confident ones. He had an adaptive way of interacting with the older kids to challenge them in such a way they got more out of their experience.
The trampolines and inflatables were incredible. I've never seen such a vast array of equipment included in one place. The inflatable slides were so much fun even the adults enjoyed the experience! The kids energy lasted longer than mine!
I took the opportunity to savour the café experience which had efficient table service. No need to queue or walk about carrying laden trays of hot food and drink, you order from the QR code on the table and the food is brought to you! The standard of food and drink was impressive. The hot drinks were an equivalent quality to a good coffee shop standard and the food was delicious! I was particularly impressed that the slushes the kids had were a healthy option, no sugar, no artificial colours and enhanced with vitamins! I did have a slurp myself and in my opinion they tasted better than the ones I've tried previously!
Whilst I was recharging at the table the kids continued to jump. I noticed one staff member particularly stood out and that was Layla. She was interacting with the kids in a friendly manner, crouching down to their height when talking and demonstrating how to use various equipment safely. The kids were back and forth to the table getting drinks and each time they were chatting in an upbeat excitable manner about Layla. I noticed that when they went back to jump they would seek her out and gravitate to playing on whichever equipment she was supervising.
Overall a really great experience, very clean venue, helpful and energised staff with equipment most kids...
Read moreMixed feelings about this soft play. The trampoline area looks great but this was not part of the ticket we purchased so had to appreciate from a distance. The soft play area was a decent size; filling up a corner of the warehouse and looked nearly brand new and was very clean. The tables / cafe spaces to set down in were very far from clean however, with lots of old trays left out on empty tables and leftover food on the floors. The soft play itself was good fun with a nice mixture of slides, ball pit, many different levels and even a see through platform to test your child's bravery. The play equipment was the real highlight.
The cafe served food that you would expect at this sort of place. We had a kid's chicken bites and chips and a cheesy chips and don't think it was anything but average to be honest. The coffee on the other hand was far from average - possibly the worst coffee I've had in years. I ordered a latte and received a paper cup filled to the brim with pale coffee. It was served at near boiling temperature and once it had cooled I had to spit out a skin that had formed on top of the milk. Yuck.
The staff on the floor are not very knowledgeable and generally very young (also those making the coffee), there was little to no control over guests going from one area to the other and upon asking the staff about this they said they weren't sure and to check at reception. This lead to children of 10+ running riot in the soft play area that is meant for 0-5. This would be fine if they were generally just there to have fun but they were scaring smaller children and climbing up slides (something clearly signposted).
I think I'll give it another go, but skip the café offering entirely and go for the trampoline area with the eldest of my two kids. Hopefully we can manage to completely avoid all the bad aspects we...
