2nd time we have been here, after a year... Good: you have a choice of three park/play areas each offering something different and for a range of ages, although I would say 2 and under are very limited, aimed at more age 4 and up. Lots of space and places to park, well kept lake and grounds. Beautiful. You can buy food on site as well which helps if you wreck your lunch or need an emergency coffee. Not so good: Toilet facilities were a bit grim, one was out of order and the other was the complete other side of the park, however once we walked all the way over they were not nice and no better than when we had come the previous year, even if they didn't update them they at least need a lot of cleaning and tlc. The play areas were the same as the year before except were definitely a lot more worn and again in need of some repair and/or replacement in some parts as they just aren't fit for purpose anymore.

Overall a nice place for a family day out, amenities are there and the play areas are decent, better for older children in regards the play areas. Personally I would say it would greatly benefit from a bit of minor...

Had a lovely day at Emberton Park, driven past lots of times going too and from Milton Keynes. Decided to take the kids( all older , 3 in their teens). Still had a great day. On arrival at the gate house paid £4.50 to stay as long as you want, families were their having picnics, putting tents/ gazebos up and making the day of it. You can park either in the car park or on the grass( near to picnic tables; which were ample). There's 3 play areas( one being a sandpit with mini diggers). The café ( coffee, cakes, ice cream and savoury snacks) is situated at the beginning of the park and there are two public toilets situation within the park. The lakes were idyllic and you can picnic overlooking the lakes, while the kids can play in the play area or maybe a game of rounders or cricket. Walking or cycling into the park is free. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. A family of old and new were their celebrating someone's birthday. Why have I not been sooner, when the kids were smaller! All came home feeling...

We camped for 1 night with a group of friends and family. Unfortunatley there was a group of young men & women in the adjacent camping field that played loud thumping music until 4.30am. We spoke to them but they refused to turn it down or off. There are NO wardens or security on site during the evening / night! Several campers inc our group called the out of hours emergency number and we got through to a third party company that didn't want to know. We called 101 and the police didn't want to know about noise / antisocial behaviour. We were advised by the police to call MK environmental health dept (it is afterall an MK council run site). They had no personnel available to deal with out of hours calls. The net result was that it ruined what might have been a peaceful night, in an idyllic location. In our opinion MK council have a duty of care to manage the site fully, and there should absolutely be a night warden / security team in place to deal with this scenario. We will never return to camp at...

Beautiful park with a lake, lots of amenities and multiple play areas for the kids. For parking you will be asked for a 'donation' for £4.50 at the entrance, not sure what happens if you refuse to pay :-) On some green areas you are not allowed to drive but on most you may drive down to the stop where ever you prefer to camp! The place is massive so very spoilt for choice. BBQs are allowed and as like every where ensure to dispose off the rubbish in the end or take it home with you. There are plenty of bins provided. There is also a shop where you can buy ice creams, hot drinks and snacks. Toilets are available with baby change facilities, the cleaners also come to check frequently. There is was long queue outside the ladies one but the men's ones had no queue ;-) Overall very nice place to spend a day out when the weather is suitable.

This is a recent discovery and so glad we found it to enjoy in the nice weather. A gated entrance for cars with a £4 fee allows you into the park with options to park around the premises. This is also due to the fact there are static caravans on site (I do not know any information abkut). If entering by foot it is free. There is a little cafe at the entrance which is small and cosy. Only had coffee which is reasonably priced. The walks around the park are quiet and there is plenty of space for children and dogs to run about. There are a couple of play areas for children and any any can enjoy them. A quiet lake in the middle makes the stroll around the lake nice and peaceful. I highly recommend the park and also as a place to hold bbq' s
