We’ve visited here twice over the past year. The first last August and the second a week or so ago.

Let’s be honest it isn’t cheap. The fact the children’s tickets are the same as the adult ones is what makes it so pricy. However the children love it here and can easily spend the entire day here so I do think you get your monies worth. There are a lot of attractions and things to do, and many that you’ll want to do a few times so at the end of the day I do think it’s very much worth the money. When coupled with the summer event, which is included in the price, the addition of the disco, shows, and fireworks make it even better value for money.

The busiest bit of the park tends to be the bit on the right with the rollercoaster, teacups, and water slide ride. All three are fun but can get a bit of a queue at times. Despite being a water slide wide you’re riding on a rubber dingy so don’t get wet. Or we didn’t.

The hedge maze is fun and a decent size. The dinosaur walk through is well done with some great animatronics, and some stunning views out to sea. The pirate play area is fantastic and the two ships are lots of fun. Be aware they have water canons on them so you will get wet here.

The under the sea walk through was very pretty and great to look at. Fairyland is a little small but my daughter was entranced with it and loved spotting all the fairies plus exploring the castle.

The snakes and ladders slides are great and they spent ages on here alone.

Cowboy town is the biggest themed area and has a bunch of play buildings and western themed climbing apparatus. They sell cap guns and fun snaps here and kids are running around using them among the western themed buildings. They were pretty reasonably priced too.

The main cafe in the park sells standard fair (pizza, nuggets, fish and chips) but was decently priced for the portions and was nice food. Service was fast despite how busy it was. The two food stands looked similar price and quality. One does bbq style and another tex mex.

The day we were there was pirate day and the themed stage shows and characters were a great addition.

We also stayed for the summer festival evening that they run two evenings a week included in the ticket price. This included characters, bubbles, a disco foam party and then fireworks. All of which were amazing. Be warned you get very wet in the foam party so bring a change of clothes and towel. But it was a great fun party atmosphere that the children loved. And the fireworks were great too.

So all in all would I visit again? Yes. I realised I’ve banged on about the price a lot but on the face of it when paying it seems expensive. But there’s so much to see and do here you can easily spend all day here, plus like many places on the island you can return again within 7 days for free. So I do feel that you very much get value for money here. There’s tons to do for younger children and a fair bit for older ones too. It’s very much...

Wow! After reading some of the reviews we contemplated on visiting here or Tapwell farm. Absolutely speechless! Such an amazing day out! So much to see and so much to do! Some beautiful views, kids loved it! Favourites must of been the dinosaurs, the big water bouncy thing, pirate ships and snakes and ladders slides! Few negatives, we had a fair few tears because the girls were slightly under 1metre and missed out on waterforce, shipwreck, evolution so were stood bored and restless while we waited in ques due to huge amounts of school kids visiting the same day which was very stressful and killed a lot of time (as you have to be over 1 metre to enjoy the main attractions) another negative, after the girls missing out on so much and having meltdowns we took them to fairyland whcih they were very excited for to them find out the castle was closed for maintenance which was very upsetting. However they did have a blast on the pirate ships soaking everyone and looking at the huge wale, dinosaurs and the bouncy water thing which was brilliant! I do think putting in some smaller rides for the younger ones would be a huge advantage eg: tea cups or carousel. All in though my eldest has adhd and this place was a huge hit as he was tall enough to enjoy everything! Shop is expensive so would advise taking your own food/drinks. So much imaginative play for the kids especially the cowboy town which was one of all of our favourites! As I said, so much to do and see, love that you can return for free within 7 days! Wish I’d of known as we would of visited at the start of our holiday and then returned again before leaving! Will definitely be back next year and hopefully there will be a couple of little rides for the younger ones! Thank you for a great day! Pictures don’t do it justice, would...

I'd love to give this place 5 stars and a great review, as it brought back so many fond memories from my childhood, and as a family we had so much fun. BUT... the whole experience was ruined because although we have a child that is registered disabled, and we had all proof required. They would accept a carers pass for my child. LITERALLY EVERY OTHER THEME PARK, OR ATTRACTION, THEATRE, CINEMA, WE GO TO ACCEPT HIS BLUE BADGE, AND ACCESS PASS. because our access pass didn't have a plus 1 (because it was applied for before he was issued the blue badge etc) The staff weren't interested in listening to us at all. I feel like they ruined our day, made my son feel very uncomfortable and upset, and their linier way of thinking is very closed minded. We live in a world where all disabilities should be recognised, even those that are not visible. We even spoke to a manager, who also had a closed mind. I feel that a theme park that has been around so long would have a better system for recognising different types of disability. For instance Disney and universal in Florida, have a system where you send them the proof prior to a visit to get your pass authorised before you get there. Merlin do the same, you send them the details and it's all done before you arrive. But instead we had the embarrassment of having two separate people denying my disabled son the free carer he should be entitled to. I'm disgusted that this kind of thing still goes on, and I'm so let down. This left a sour taste in my mouth, and I struggled to have a good time the whole day I was there because of it. This park needs to do better and get up to scratch with...
