On the wilder side when it comes to beaches; can be treacherous under foot when trying to swim unless you have water shoes. Better beach found at Compton Bay if you want to get into the water.

Great location to walk the beast and just unwind, with great views and shingle beach. Gale force winds when we went but lovely all the same. Would be fantastic on a warm summer's day.

Watch out for the parking restriction signs for the roadside lay-by that are hidden in the bushes. Don't assume that the parking wardens aren't around. I assume that the locals telephone them. It's tedious to have to appeal the £70 penalty charge although its fairly certain that you will win due to the...
