Mitchell's Fold is a bronze age stone circle on the shoulder of Corndon Hill. The rough circle is made of 15 stones but there may have been twice as many originally. The site is part of an extended network of Bronze Age constructions, including cairns, barrows and two more stone circles. Nearby is Corndon hill, only a short walk from Mitchell's fold and another small hill Lan Fawr. Both can be explored together with Mitchell's fold for a great day out. Mitchell's fold is also an excellent place for stargazing, boasting fantastic dark skies.
The carpark isn't too big and the small track leading to it can be a little bumpy,...
