These are somewhat interesting ruins, but not like Goodrich Castle! They are not legally, publicly accessible; they are on private farmland and although not close to the public footpath that runs across the field to the N they can just be seen from there. The closest point from which to view them is from the forestry track to the SE, though you have to watch carefully when the trees are in leaf. The navigational hint is to watch for a hairpin-bend in the main track from which an uphill track on the apex leads to the boundary nearest the ruins.
