Needs maintaining looks like it hasn’t had proper garndening maintenance since 1974 (when hbc was formed) there is so much overgrown trees and bushes, better pathways are needed I get it’s a forest but paved pathways should be in the hills along with better access, more infrastructure is. Needed in the centre such as improved play areas like a skate area or biking tracks The pond it’s drier than dry right now, since there’s no hosepipe ban active take some water from the nearest fire hydrant and just pay the bill, widness ponds full so I’m sure you could alto bucket over half of theirs however that’s unlikely cos Widnes gets everything. Please actually maintain the space rather than cutting a little area back every 20 odd years and letting it grow back once you do a cut back on an area you need to actively keep it cut back not let it grow back (this advice needs to be taken round all of Runcorn) basically stop spending money on some new bollards in the old rown that look like are from Liverpool city centre with their polished silver whilst the rest is rill matte black old style theme spend some money where ppl actiallu need it like who wants metal benches built to last replaced with wood that...

Runcorn Hill is a lovely place to spend a quiet hour or so. It is a...
Read moreLovely walk with our dogs and grandchildren. I'm a power wheelchair user and find the pathways so easy. There are hills so the manual wheelchair user would need to be pretty strong or have someone push them. Also there is the higher walks for those who can manage them I believe the views are stunning but be careful of the cliff edge so keep your dogs safe on their leads while up there. There is a lovely boating lake and the horse field along the common pretty easy to use in a chair. The kiddy park is by the boating lake so a really nice setting. Esposito serve lovely drinks especially their coffee as well as snacks. There are also toilet facilities and a bowl of water to refresh your dog/s. a really good day out alone or with the family and of...
