Beach was mostly fine rocks and shingles, not much sand to speak of. There were a few leftover fires, but nothing major. There was one small area of sand. It looks like there has been a bug clean up effort, lots of dog poo bins and a large skip for rubbish.

Coastal path with plenty of sand and some pebbles. Perfect to go swimming in the sea. Evening walks are a must.

Lovely, clean beach. No crowds as it's a bit of a mission to get to. Lots of walking paths nearby.

It was a nice camping area. The facilities - pool and entertainment were very good.

The toilet block was ok. I did notice that some of the campers were discussing and although not witnessed, there was damage to the toilet holders and what looked like poo smearing the walls? 😳 It's not fair on the staff when campers cannot respect the facilities for everyone to enjoy.

I would say the arcade is more a money making opportunity as the prizes look like something from the pound shop. Maybe have some decent arcade games to actually play rather than winner...

Lovely beach to walk on, but unfortunately holidaymakers seem to think that it is a bin, and plenty of unauthorised fire pits don't make the beach a place ideal. For children, however great to walk the dog or the girlfriend on on a lovely sunny day. Avoid if you're looking for a sandy beach, definitely come if you like mud and rocks, some good skimming stones...

The easiest way to find the beach (because there's almost no signage in the holiday park itself), is to search online for a site map (pdf) of Thorness Bay Holiday Park, then go towards the 'Ocean View' part of the site, and you can park just by the sports courts / pitches and walk down...
