Lovely spacious space, woods to explore, open space for picnics and games. Cycle paths, rambling tracks. Tea room. The house has events(payable and usually bookable) there's toilets, car parking and a walled garden. Bad points, you now have to pay to park, not expensive £1 per hour but sadly even though this is a newly added pay and display car park, you still have to pay up front. Really? All car parks should be pay as you leave. You should be able to visit a local park without pre determining how long you'll be there! The tea rooms are normal (expensive) prices, which I accept, however the service is sooooo slow. My last visit I queued for 15 mins to buy 2 coffees. Now good points. Always trying to improve the park. It has a lovely atmosphere, primarily I guess because the people visiting are doing something recreational. Great for bird watching. A new addition is the new large wooden play area. A definite hit with the kids. Definitely recommend. Great...

Taking advantage of a neglected Upton House and it's grounds, the local authority have invested both time and cash to transform this park into a very good venue for the whole family. There's very good parking, clearly marked pathways and is dog friendly in most parts. In fact, it's so dog friendly there's a dog washing machine in the car park for mud covered mutts. I'll leave that to your imagination! There's a cafe, a walled garden and both rough and smooth landscaped walks. Most of the park is wheelchair accessable with only gentle slopes and a firm surface. The renovation by the local authority has largely succeeded in catering for all types of visitor and as the park is on the protected north shore of Poole Harbour, it's often visited by the bird watching fraternity. The natural amphitheatre at the front of the House is often used for open air entertainment in the summer months. A good place to...

Upton Country Park is a fantastic place for a walk, especially with my cockerpoo! The expansive park offers beautiful, scenic paths that are perfect for a leisurely stroll. There’s so much space for dogs to run around, and the trails are surrounded by lush greenery, making it a peaceful and relaxing experience. The park is well-maintained, with clean pathways and plenty of dog-friendly areas.

My cockerpoo absolutely loves the variety of spots to explore – from woodlands to open fields and even by the water. There are also lots of benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The park has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and I’ve always felt safe and comfortable there. It's the perfect place for both me and my dog to get some fresh air and enjoy nature.

Highly recommend Upton Country Park to any dog owner looking for a beautiful and dog-friendly place to walk! Five stars...
