Absolutely fabulous place to walk with great parking options. Brilliant to walk my dog in, I can easily walk her for an hour and not see the same bit twice. Lots of space and light and some lovely variety in nature. Well marked out paths and can make a really long walk through the different areas or a short one too. On the north side, the common is suitable for families and pushchairs but some areas can get a bit muddy but there are still good flat paths to follow. Can also go down the slopes towards the south end and there are lovely waterways and tree lined areas but this is rather muddy. Just stunning, one of my favourite places to walk and I keep discovering new paths. Great throughout all seasons.

A great place to be around nature and lovely for a dog walk. There are a number of paths leading around the reserve some of which cross over the road. In the winter the paths can get quite muddy so sensible footwear is advisable. There is a good sized car park which has the only bin for any dog waste or rubbish.

Great place for a walk, crossing over from the carpark there are numerous trails, some lead to abandoned buildings which made for a more adventurous and interesting walk. Not really any facilities here but lovely wooded paths and trials, great for dog walking but no poo bins on the walks, only in the carpark.

Yesterday was National Book Day and someone had been out early and set up a trail based on Goldilocks. There were laminated pages and some places had items hung on the branches. There were 3 different sized you beds and 3 different sized teddy bears. We didn't find all the clues/story but it was so exciting for the children. Well done whoever went to all that effort! Besides that, the reserve is excellent for a walk without...

It was beautiful and now it's been ravaged and left in a terrible state by the company who felled some trees. The forest is now littered with muddy rutted roads, ranches and tree remnants everywhere.

Whoever oversaw this work should be ashamed of themselves and the company that carried out the work, cowboys!

A once beautiful spot now a muddy walk, well done Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust, a job...
