My grandad used to work for the Manor, more accurately Mr Patterson, as a young boy I spent the majority of school holidays visiting the isle of weight and subsequently seeing the manor in a completely different light to most. Taking clemy there golden retriever for walks around the grounds, foraging for mushrooms over the vast amount of open fields, one year I was even given the chance to help hand feed the lambs. I could never offer a good enough review for this amazing home and iconic part of Shorwell village.
