I love going to this beach and would highly recommend you give it a go! The beach is a mixture of pebbles and sand with easy access to the sea which makes it perfect for simply paddling or setting off in a cayak or paddle board. So much so that a hire company operates from this beach during busy periods.
There is some dedicated parking but it is very limited so don't be surprised if you have to park elsewhere and walk.
Situated to the side of the beach is a small refreshment shop selling ice creams, lollies etc. Also to the side of the beach is the entrance to the cliff walk which you can take to get all the way around to Gylly Beach in Falmouth.

Back after two years. So pleased we got a day on our favourite beach on earth.
So much has changed in that short time, new cafe which is amazing, staff as welcoming as ever and very special to be able to thank the people that looked after my uncle and cousins when he fell from the cliff two years ago.

Read moreA lovely beach on the south coast. The water here is flat so great for watersports. We brought our own equipment so I'm unsure if you can hire. The beach is large enough to maintain social distancing and the sand is soft. A good beach for the family because you can sunbathe on the sand, do watersports in the water or make sandcastles. You can also snorkell here, although I recommend staying near the rocks on the left hand side.
