I love going to this beach and would highly recommend you give it a go! The beach is a mixture of pebbles and sand with easy access to the sea which makes it perfect for simply paddling or setting off in a cayak or paddle board. So much so that a hire company operates from this beach during busy periods.

There is some dedicated parking but it is very limited so don't be surprised if you have to park elsewhere and walk.

Situated to the side of the beach is a small refreshment shop selling ice creams, lollies etc. Also to the side of the beach is the entrance to the cliff walk which you can take to get all the way around to Gylly Beach in Falmouth.

I also want to point out that there is a dog ban between certain months of the year so check that before going...

Wow, even better.....

Back after two years. So pleased we got a day on our favourite beach on earth.

So much has changed in that short time, new cafe which is amazing, staff as welcoming as ever and very special to be able to thank the people that looked after my uncle and cousins when he fell from the cliff two years ago.

Thank you guys, we love you all.

Spent my life visiting Maenporth and plays a vital part in my memories. Can't wait to be back again in August with the rest of the family.

Beach stunning and clean, toilets spotless, the food is fantastic, great quality, great value.

Could go on for ever, but in short, don't miss this place, take as much care as everyone who loves it does and it will continue to be the...

A lovely beach on the south coast. The water here is flat so great for watersports. We brought our own equipment so I'm unsure if you can hire. The beach is large enough to maintain social distancing and the sand is soft. A good beach for the family because you can sunbathe on the sand, do watersports in the water or make sandcastles. You can also snorkell here, although I recommend staying near the rocks on the left hand side. There is a small beach on the left hand side you can kayak too, or even swim too if you're a strong enough swimmer. There is a place to get food and drinks on the left hand side of the beach. Overall a...

**THERE ARE WEEVER FISH HERE - WEAR AQUA SHOES** This is a lovely little beach, perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming, and when the wind's blowing it's great for surfing too. The beach is clean but is a mixture of sand and rocks. The tide goes out but not too much you can still walk out to it... Or go rock pooling. There is a cafe for lunch and treats plus car parking and toilets. We're staying locally and have been to the beach every day - one thing to point out is that we have seen children stung by weever fish every day - there are no signs up but please wear aqua shoes or something on your feet.

So we arrived early 7.15 to sit on the beach and paddleboard just to find out we can no longer park in the car park as we are 7mtrs long even though we parked well out the way and the end over hanging so really only taking 1 spot the nice lady explained is was to do with loads of motor home taking all the spaces, I can see this but I think from what I can see online the owner of the cafe no longer wants you to have the ability to make your own drinks or food, save yourself a trip if your over 5mtrs and go round the corner to swanpool much better parking and facilities
