Booked using an offer on Group on. Summer holidays, but Booked a slot with ease. Ages ranged from 12, 10 and 6. All enjoyed it, great fun and an hour is plenty long enough, given how physical it is.
There was no greeting on arrival. Just a moody, unfriendly young girl with no customer service skills. Prehaps you should get some! We came across a lady checking people in, who asked us to sit down and she would call us. That never happened!
We collected our wetsuits, which was a young girl and lad (clearly in a relationship) unprofessional wouldn't even cut it. They couldn't give a toss about getting people in their wetsuits in good time. Too busy engaging on their phones. I heard the lad say "what do you reckon large or XL?" If you asked me pal I would of told you !!
To then call themselves "life guards" is a joke and actually insulting to the profession. What they were good at was having a conversation with each other on their walkie talkies across the course. They were completely unaware of what was going on in the water.
The changing rooms were gross! There's plenty of time between change over of users too mop the floor and dry the benches.
I've never seen such a grumbly, miserable lot. No manners or acknowledgement.
It's a great activity, but don't expect staff to enjoy your...
Read moreAn absolute pleasure to take my son to on his 16th birthday others of the same age on 120 foot water with a lot of fun floats to mess around on under the watch full eye of the staff both on the floats as well as the land. All staff we're very accommodating and did a safety briefing 15 minutes before fun time. One of his friends couldn't even swim but gave it a good go and also had fun and ALL want to go back as soon as they can. Wetsuits and life jackets are provided but your welcome to take you own wetsuit for this hour of fun then stop and grab some wonderful hot cooked food on site then ask if you can go again at a discounted rate as long as there spaces. Lovely to see fun and adventurous teenagers have fun before their real lives make a start after high school and even better it's in Britain and not far away for a lot of local people. Also they do scoober diving and after a wonder conversion with Pauline in a different building has got me thinking dad can have a well earned hobby too while the young generation use up their energy lol. So why not give it a go and inject some cash into firms at home and not abroad as we have a...
Read moreWe had an afternoon here last week with our 3 kids (2x13 and 1x6 year old) and what a fantastic afternoon it was. From arrival everyone was informative and helpful, the layout is fantastic with plenty of seating whilst you wait to get your gear in and go in….The turnaround of sessions was smooth and fast so everything was all just easy. although a lake the water was great. We have been to others like these are unfortunately covered in duck faeces both in and around the water… The inflatable itself was great, nice new sturdy equipment. The only issue I would have is it’s so hard to get back on once you fall off..the kids had no problem but as an unfit mum it’s probably more my issue than anyone else’s… however a couple of the platforms did have a ledge to them you could get a foot up. Would be nice if you could get them for a few more…We all absolutely loved it. As it was a nice day we stayed to get off and have some food. All of which was lovely, reasonably priced and a great option. All in all a great day that we would recommend to anyone. In fact we have and most definately...
