Everything's a product of its time. This White Horse was constructed in 2003, so it needs some time to bed in and become traditional. Ask me again in a couple of hundred years and I'll probably give it another star.
Right now though, it's just a bunch of paving slabs which have been slapped on the hillside and painted white. Its main purpose in life seems to be to give people something "inspiring" to see out of the tiny portholes of the Eurotunnel trains in the Folkestone terminus that it overlooks. The whole thing feels kinda tacky and contrived.

If the ground has any moisture then it's going to be slippy, so a dry day would be best for this route!
We went slightly lower than the horse to get a decent view and then wandered around it to get a close-up view.
