It is a serene spot in the Forest of Dean, perfect for a quiet walk or picnic. The well itself is a beautiful sight, and the surrounding area is full of interesting wildlife. There are paths leading in different directions so you could spend a few hours there. I did a 3 mile walk then chilled by the Well & stream, very peaceful. Tidied some sticks & bits out of the stream just to do my bit whilst there. Children could play for hours here during summer but be warned the water...
