Arrived feeling great after the views along the way. Greeted by a local woman, nice and friendly.. gave us directions to find the waterfall but she said, the pathway to follow was overgrown! She wasn't kidding! There was NO WAY my son and I could get through the gate to read the information board, let alone anything else via that route! Saddened by this as we travelled a 40mins drive for the experience to be let down by this hiccup! The parc entrance was so well kept, clean & inviting. The ornamental/historic stories in the slate walls over the bridge etc were an eye opener too. The 2020 painted pebbles by Sienna & other's... how special is that to be placed as a part in history. What's with the bubbles in the sand of the pond though?? Found no creatures to verify habitat! There's a bike track designated around the area but we didn't see/bump into any cyclists yesterday. A very beautiful valley. Look forward to revisiting again to explore more.

A beautiful tranquil parc with breath taking views. It is great for long dog walks and cycling. The main paths are tarmac but there are plenty of smaller path walks off these and off road cycle tracks for various abilities There is small lake with duck's and plenty of seating areas around to sit and just relax to enjoy the stunning scenery all around. There is a small picnic area with benches within walking distance of the free parking area and also a nicely enclosed equipped park for children to play in.

Had a lovely walk here today with the family and our two dogs. We chose to come here after reading the reviews and it saying there was a decent path. Wasn’t disappointed, we walked at the side of the stream on a tarmac path for approx 3.5km round trip. Plenty of crossing places to the other side but then the walk was more muddy and not tarmac so stayed in the one side. Great place to walk the dogs and look at the beautiful welsh countryside without getting too muddy. Well Worth a visit.

Love this place. Almost bought a house in the town couple years back. It's a bit of a drive in land from Porthcawl but it's totally worth it. My dog absolutely enjoyed every minute as well.

Plenty of benches to rest at for those like me with disabilities and mobility issues. A nice stream for the dogs to play in.

There is a cycle track which is great fun for those into mountain biking.

You can choose between a good hike up the mountain side or a pleasant stroll around the pond.

Lots of bins around to pick up and throw away your dogs mess which i appreciated.

You could take a nice picnic and make an afternoon of it with family easily.

It's well kept, I'd recommend to anyone in the area to...
