Portstewart Baptist Church — Attraction in Glebe

I had the pleasure of visiting here during a recent holiday, and I was truly blessed by attending. With a warm welcome at the enterence, I knew this was a church that loved and cared for people.

The worship was uplifting and heartfelt, blending traditional and contemporary elements beautifully. The teaching was grounded in Scripture, thoughtful, and very relevant to everyday life. It’s clear that the leadership team is passionate about sharing God’s Word and caring for the congregation.

What stood out to me most was the strong sense of community. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, you’re made to feel like part of the family. It’s a church that truly lives out its faith, not just on Sundays but throughout the week.

This is a very lovely church. They are welcoming to newcomers and regulars and have a clear passion for Christ as shown in the amazing services. The singing can be a wee bit too long though and sometimes too loud depending where you are sitting. There are plenty of services, meetings and other activities here including a youth club and coffee mornings. During services you can leave children in the children's group and there are usually refreshments after or before the services.
