Great place to come for walks, cycling, picnics or just relaxation. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the nature, listen to singing birds or woodpecker, see the mausoleum or grazing cows freely moving about. Kids and dogs will love love it! The area of Cobham Wood is National Trust property, and is well kept. There are many paths you can choose from, including walks through the fields. There are no toilet facilities. Pick up a leaflet at the entrance gate and follow the 9 marked stations to learn about ancient trees of the woods. It is remarkable how lovely this walk is after the wood management and the effort to look after the mausoleum. It would be even better if there is a clearer mark pointing to station 6 (after stopping at mausoleum).
