I didn't get to see or visit the castle but stayed on the estate in one of the cottages and was allowed to explore the 50 acres of land which seemed to have public access on some paths as well. Was a peaceful place and hidden from the world

Beaufort is owned privately and is not available for public viewing. But as a little girl I used to attend pony events in the grounds and it was really really special. It is such a lovely castle.
