Copas Farm PYO Cookham is a nice place to go with the family, especially young children. They have a good range of fruits and vegetables but they go quickly either people pick time or they dry up and die! My son loves being free outdoors, running and picking his fruits, he loves fruits and veg. HOWEVER, ive been there twice now and both times i found the older lady ( i believe she is the manager) rather rude and standoffish. The first time she was outright rude to myself and another mother who was visiting with her two boys, wasn't helpful when asked simple questions about the farm, was hostile to both of us. Anyways my son enjoyed it and i just thought she had a bad day so we went back, we enjoyed the picking but on check out a family in front of me had misplace their ticket ( a extremely small print out with just the date and time on it not even the name of the farm and no barcode) the guy at the front came in to verify that they did in fact purchase a ticket which was charged £12 as he was the one that gave it to them and she STILL wouldn't take the £12 off their total, the family then decided to put their items back as they were disappointed with the type of service as the older woman was not nice about it and was so rude people behind became uncomfortable as they waited to pay for their items , the family did find their ticket in the end and was charge £37 for some plums, strawberries, and raspberries. Extortion if you ask me and with the bad service makes you not want to part with your money!!! Good service and nice people make a huge difference in the world and we all need to understand that we are human, mistakes happen and no one should be made to feel bad by someone else; understanding that it is a business but it was verified so have a HEART!! Anyways i hope no one else has experience negativity like this from the farm. I never leave reviews when i go to places but i felt like since this was the second time maybe i should but i wont be returning, will find somewhere else to PICK MY OWN and i love...

Been to both Iver and Cookham pick your own sites last year with my family and would not recommend the experience to anyone. Staff were very rude, unhelpful and act like they have no duty to actually help when you ask them a question.

The Fruit and Veg were okay but not worth the ridiculous prices as they didn't taste any better than anything bought from a supermarket! and when i returned home I found some insects in the raspberries I had picked and had to throw them all out anyway. Refreshments are sold at extortionate prices but i did not feel like spending a penny more at this place to be honest.

Both farms are quite nice environments if they weren't full of litter and screaming children running around whilst they're parents ignore them. One child actually ran straight into my own toddler knocking him over flat and causing him to burst into tears.

The toilets weren't "too bad" at Iver(just had urine all over the floor and no toilet roll) but were absolutely horrendous at the Cookham farm, there was literally faeces sprayed up the walls and all over the toilet seat. When i went to complain about this I was very bluntly told that they would be cleaned up but upon my return half an hour later they were still filthy.

In conclusion I would save your money and time and avoid these farms like the plague. With other much nicer and friendlier pick your own farms nearby I would definitely not recommend coming here. If i was to ever return you would have to pay me a very large sum of money to return...

Very disappointed this time. Read before you go.

Used to be here to pick fruits since 2019 with great experience but after COIVD it seems the taste has been changed.

We had the slot from 4pm to 5pm and there’s barely any cherry or strawberry to pick. Last few trees with cherry were dirty and the strawberry were sunburned so in the end we found circa £7 for the fruits.

Our voucher is £17 and we thought the fruit in the shop can be added in the voucher so we can still get equivalent fruits even we can’t get enough from our own picks.

But we were told it’s not possible to add the shop goods into the voucher - so we got £7 worth of fruits for the value of £17.

I understand the COVID impact but this is not the right way to run business knowing you don’t have enough for the guests to pick while you neither refund nor substitute with the shop goods.

Cost a small fortune to pick pumpkins! £7 entry and £20 for four small pumpkins. The website was misleading and implied we’d get 20% discount for booking online - turns out the discount was already applied at the till. There weren’t any washing facilities so I was directed to a tiny hand washing basin. The farm could benefit from a small kids play area or something to at least justify the entry fee. I’ve definitely experienced better pumpkin farms and paid far less.

Reliving my childhood! my ma took me here as a kid strawberry picking, I recall stuffing my face( no change there lol) had a great couple of hours ( easier than scrumping back in the day) quite back breaking picking the strawberries tho, had to forraged down lol, (as season nearly over) raspberries and plumbs much easier to pick, a great way to support the local farmers, a must visit for the young and old, plus you get a wee bit of exercise
