A West Coast beach you see on the anti clockwise route of the NC500 and like many of the others you wish you could pull up and get to easily... well good news 😊 you can with this one.

Free shared car parking can be found at the golf course with access to the beach only a minute away via a short decked beach pathway.

The beach is beautifully clean and was almost empty at one point... had to have a paddle in the sea which was cold and refreshing but was another little tick on the list of things done whilst on tour 😉

Great beach and one I'm sure the locals must be very proud of... well...

My favorite place in the world! The sand is pristine with loads of shells for the collector. My favorite has to be the sea potato with it's fragile round shell. Views of sky and the town of Gairloch are gorgeous rain or shine but I highly recommend going at sunrise or sunset for the maximum wow factor. Fires are allowed on the beach but please be careful to cover it up afterwards. Doggies are free to run and play in the sea. Great...

This is a delightful little, sandy beach. No litter, very pretty, easy pedestrian access via a well kept, tree lined path and a wooden footbridge. Adjacent to the beach is a beautiful nine hole golf course with a clubhouse that includes a cafe which is open to the public. There is also a good carpark available for golf club and beach users. The path to the beach is directly from this carpark and is approximately...

Very pretty beach, spotlessly clean. Golden sands and dunes. If you want pebbles and shells don't bother it's just sand. There's a decking walkway giving access for wheelchair users and a pay to use public toilet. The scenery is spectacular. There's a short coastal walk to Charlestown , about 1 mile for a general store, cafe and pub , plenty of parking for the beach and it's free.
