One of our favourite dog walks in Glasgow - Glennifer Braes Country Park 🐶 🚶 #dogwalking #glasgowdog #dogsoftiktok

A beautiful country park with loads if designated pathways. A mixture of pine trees and other native species. Highland cattle are grazed in this area so watch your step. Plenty of free car parking and benches scattered here and there as well as a children’s outdoor adventure swing park. This is a very popular place with dog walkers, hikers, families and local off road vehicles! Set stop the hillside it is worth just visiting for a great view of Foxbar and Paisley. Only downside is a lot of traffic and aircraft noise. I often go for day trips with a shelter and eat lunch , I don’t camp overnight.

This used to be a great place to walk your dog. But too many people don't clean up after their dogs it is filthy with dogs crap and full poo bags. Motorcycles are running riot. The ground is scarred with their tyres and no one seems to bother. The cattle on the sergeantlaw road side are unpredictable and dangerous. And the amount of cow shit is ridiculous. Fly tipping is constant . In short. It has been abandoned by those who are responsible for it's upkeep. Namely Renfrewshire council.

Definitely a lovely place for going a walk, there are so many different ways that your able to go and explore. Also had a stunning view of paisley and the surrounding areas, if up on a clear night you can see for miles all around it looks stunning. Your also able to watch the planes take off from Glasgow Airport during the day, also able to at night but only really when landing. It is definitely a great spot to take a picnic up and just sit in your car and watch the world go by. There is also a little swing park, for the kids to play on which is quite good. The only downside in that it is very dark at night and there are bo lights. There is no nearby toilets that can be used thus impacting...

Absolutely breathtaking , Gleniffer Braes Country Park provides an excellent array of exploration and enjoyment, the environment is vast from forests to waterways, hillsides and fields, all which provide stunning views. This countryside is at its best in the heart of summer or winter when the seasonal changes are most noticeable, in addition to this several species can be found here including roe deer, foxes, tawny owls, woodmice and bank voles and aquatic species include perch, brown trout and occasionally european eel in addition to this several herds of Highland cattle can be found throughout the braes averaging around 10-30 in numbers, grazing upon the grass and tending to...

Fab 180° views but don't expect silence with Airport within earshot. Well worth a visit, as is adjacent Glen park for impressive waterfall. Boggy in parts especially south end near golf course, but I managed in trainers after finding a dryish path through. Spotted a small 'Bambi' type deer in wooded area. Be aware that magnificent looking horned cattle roam, but i found them very passive as i weaved through them, they must be well used to peeps. For panoramic 360° brill views head for hill between Wenlock road & Hillside road, a separate hill from Gleniffer Braes a mile or 2 away, parking should be OK here, but I...
