Our family with children ages 15 to 3 thoroughly enjoyed this must see Scottish experience! The Heavies, Highland dance, and piper competitions were a great fun to watch. Food trucks provided an adequate dinner and delicious desserts and stands with local artisans with a variety of wares were fun to peruse. The commentator for the evening was so entertaining and friendly. We had a bit of a hike to drive to Kenmore, but the scenery was a lovely distraction and the fun of the evening was entirely worth it! Kenmore typically has their games in early July, so if you're in the area, or on your way northward, stop for the night and enjoy one of the most fun Scottish experiences.

What you see at this disappointing Scottish festival is
mostly simple and tasteless food and not Scottish food as I expected,
everyone sits on the grass and watches boring competitions such as running and javelin throwing that are not clear what connection they have to the festival.
Their Scottish dances are poor and placed in a corner that is hard to see.
It is unclear why this festival exists. Totally unnecessary.
People come from all over the world expecting to see Scottish folklore, original Scottish foods, Scottish dancing and instead they see simply nothing....
