When we parked up at the church, the man from the house next to it asked us to please close the gates across the road when we left. They mustn't like traffic coming up the road but it's the only access to fishing the Loch (permit required, I think it's brown trout and pike?) or using kayaks / paddleboards which he said was absolutey fine to do. There's a gate by the church that leads you down a grassy road to park closer. We were only visiting the church this time but the loch looks perfect for gentle boating
