Look out for open days there will be a sign by the road side on the right just after the Ruan Minor turning (if your heading to Lizard) its a small gateway entrance. There are a few anti-aircraft guns to see and one you can sit on and operate the handles raising and lowering the barrel.. There's a bunker with a small museum set up with a guided tour of the displays. There arw also field guns and a blank fireing display from time to time.. One of the guns was fired and an old soldier played the Last Post on his bugle. Then a beacon was lit. Nice when you stumble on something like this. Still worth a visit on ordinary days.
