Areas accessible to all.

Toilets found along the way in towns and villages.

Beautiful buildings of all ages and not so beautiful give away the heritage and importance of the river. A place to play in parks and open fields.

Footpaths scattered along the way.

The River Avon is a beautiful river teaming with fish and wildlife.

It stretches through valleys. It's great for walking and local history that runs its course.

It has beautiful woodland and open fields also.

Farms scatter the fields around with animals grazing.

Kingfishers fly up and down parading flashes of colours.

Water vole can been seen if you look carefully.

Dragon flies dart green and blue between the reads.

It's really worth the time and great for the health of all, including animals.

Flora and about will leave your...

Anytime of the day or night this river is worth strolling along. You can take a boat tour or even hire boats nearby. A favourite of the family and right in the heart of the most stunning rolling countryside and Bath city. This is a beautiful part of the city. You can follow the river right down from the city centre to the train station. The views are lovely and the it is a great place to walk and take it the sights.especially the stretch from the centre to Green Park. Tranquil and peaceful and lovely in the shade when the sun is shining. Pleasant to look at the narrow boats...

Bath, England — a UNESCO World Heritage city filled with the charm of stunning architecture and natural beauty. These photos capture the iconic Pulteney Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. Spanning the River Avon, the bridge is lined with Georgian-style buildings, preserving its historic character. Below the bridge, a gracefully curved weir enhances the scenic appeal of the area.

Surrounding the city are classic British homes nestled on the hills, lush green parks, and a towering spired church. This is a favorite photo spot for visitors from around the world, especially the viewpoint overlooking Pulteney Bridge and the River Avon, where history, romance, and beauty perfectly intertwine.

10 things to do in Bath, England ⬇️⁣ 🏛 Visit the Roman Baths – one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world. Originally constructed in 70AD, the baths are filled with spring water each day however please note you can’t actually take a dip in the water (the water is kinda rank tbh). ⁣ 🌉 Stroll across Pulteney Bridge - one of four bridges in the world that’s lined with various shops, cafes and restaurants.⁣ 💦 Take a soak at @thermaebathspa and go up to the iconic rooftop pool. From here you’ll get a fabulous view of Bath Abbey.⁣ 🏞 Go for a stroll around Prior Park. You can’t miss the picturesque Palladian Bridge and if you’re up for the trek, walk the Bath Skyline.⁣ 🥯 Eat Bath’s original Bun (part cake, part brioche — bloody delicious!) at the famous Sally Lunn’s Tearoom tea house, one of the oldest buildings in the city. ⁣ 🍸 Get a round of cocktails at @opium.bar @bathdistillery @circobarbath @darkhorsebath @sub13bar⁣ 🚤 Go for a cruise along the River Avon. You can hire a boat or if you’re feeling fancy you can sail on the Lady Lena and enjoy afternoon tea, canapés or champagne during your voyage. ⁣ 🍰 ☕️ Afternoon tea at @thepumproomrestaurant⁣ 👀 Visit the nearby Stonehenge - it’s only a one hour drive from Bath which means you can totally fit in this prehistoric pit stop as part of a day trip from London.⁣ 🏘 Pretend you’re an extra on Bridgerton and take a walk up to Royal Crescent – one of Bath’s most famous streets with a sweeping crescent of perfectly preserved Georgian architecture. ⁣ 📚 Visit the Jane Austin Centre and discover more about Britain’s most loved author’s life during 19th century Bath. ⁣ ⁣ #uktravelblogger #visitbath #bathuk #bathsomerset #bathengland #somerset #igersbath #lovebath #bathcity #loveforsomerset #visitsomerset #igerssomerset #visitengland #england🇬🇧 #thisprettyengland #bestukpics #visituk #kings_villages #travelengland #darkacademia #darkacademiaaesthetic #darkacademiavibes #aseasonalshift #thatautumnmagic #darkcottagecore #warmaesthetic #warmaesthetic #autumnaesthetic #uktravelblogger #romanticacademia
