Beautiful in every aspect of nature. I have this privilege of be here in September last year. Weather was very unpredictable and windy(before storm Agnes), but even we was alone and was so strong wind, I love it. Definitely I will back here in one day, when will more warmer and quite to enjoy. We visited cafe and make lovely tea for us. For lovers of birds and nature like me, it's heaven 💗

Had a lovely couple of hours in the fabulous RSPB visitor centre learning all about the Flow Country and then walking the trail to the lookout. Amazing how the weather can change so much in a short space of time - from beautiful sun to bitterly cold wind and rain again. It was fantastic seeing all the different plants along the trail and we even saw small birds feeding amongst the reeds.

Excellent. Arrived by train, and two friendly staff were stood on the platform waiting to greet visitors arriving by train. The visitor centre is interesting and the walk out to the lookout tower is well worth doing. The sense of isolation is quite something! They also had some lovely photos of the station back in it's heyday. Well worth a visit on a day the visitor centre is open.

Wonderful example of how quickly peat bogs can regenerate when given a little help. Amazing that the peat bog is 8m deep in this area. Teaming with flowers and insects. Deer in the fields beyond the flows. Many of the birds had already departed because it’s starting to get colder by August. Saw a hen harrier catch and eat it’s lunch. Great visitor centre and view point. The drive there is a...
