Only stayed one night as a late decision. Kids really enjoyed it - nice setting, plenty of space for them to play in, and the owner was great with us. Really good customer service!

The location is very good. Easy access to Harrogate and York. We stayed in the Shepherd's Hut which is set in lovely, peaceful surroundings. Very private with almost everything you need. The hut is very homely with cushions and blankets. ||We knew Shepherd's Hut did not have a fridge, however we feel it really does need one, especially in the warmer months. There is potentially room for a fridge in the second cupboard below the sink as that cupboard didn't have much in it at all, really wasted space. The bed could have been a little more comfy. We did take our own pillows. It was quite cool in the mornings so needed some heat. We found an instruction book in one of the drawers and noticed there was a remote above the sink which worked the electric heater under the sink unit, however it wasn't easy to work. The shower had great pressure, but the temperature control was slightly faulty and it took a while to set it to the correct temperature.||Overall we had a lovely 2 night stay and...

We stayed in Wally’s Waggon for one night. In the waggon there was a hand book on places to eat nearby (would highly recommend ‘The Sweet Basil’ Chinese restaurant, about 5 minutes down the road near the Coop garage - best Chinese we’ve ever had) and what you needed to know about what was in the wagon. The place was easy to find, clean, cosy, warm and had all the facilities you’d need for a comfortable stay - coffee, tea, sugar, kettle, toaster, hair dryer, towels, mugs, glasses, bowls and cutlery. The hot tub outside was secluded and very relaxing. The animals outside we’re friendly and a cat even came in and spent the night with us. The owners left you to it and we’re very chilled. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to any couple...

Wow. Booked a one night on the 25th Feb 2025 in the grey shepherds hut. Easy to find and welcomed with our name on the board where you park the car. Great look as we walked up with our dog. The shepherds hut was warm and laid out perfectly, bed and tub chairs so comfortable. Everything in the hut was well thought out wouldn’t change a thing. The wood burning hot tub with air jets was already warm and the best we have ever stayed in all helped by the setting and the fact that it’s well screened off from any possible onlookers. Again perfect. Plenty of wood for the hot tub and the fire pit which again was the best we have seen and fitted the setting perfectly ( when you see it you will know). We will...
