This is a beautiful area to walk along the coast paths with amazing views out to sea and back towards Whitesands Bay and Ramsey Island. The headland has a long historic past with prehistoric remains of hut circles to look out for as well as the Coetan Arthur Burial Chamber (found at the top of the hill on the promontory).
We set off from the path on the edge of Whitesands Bay carpark (no dogs allowed on the beach here). Although there are some slopes, the path is well within most walkers abilities and the views more than make up for any effort.
