Velocity Zip Line — Attraction in Great Britain

Went as a group of three to do the velocity zip wire and all in all, a fun day out. Would happily recommend should someone be looking for a zip line experience. In total the zip experience takes about 2 hours, albeit the zipping is a tiny portion of this. This isn’t a complaint, as the zip wire was more than worth it. Why only 4 stars? Perhaps this shouldn’t matter, but you have to pay for parking. It’s only a couple of pounds, but when you are travelling for hours to a quarry (I.e. you aren’t parking there and going anywhere else) and spending a fair amount of money on the experience, being forced to pay for 24 hours of parking seems a bit.. petty. Maybe some people were taking advantage of the car park, meaning charging people was the only option, but surely you refund paying customers if this is the case? Perhaps this contributed to the feeling that it wasn’t great value for money. Don’t get me wrong, the zip was fantastic, but removing that feeling of paying a lot for what you are getting would bump the experience up...

"An Unforgettable Adventure!"

I visited Zip Line Velocity Park recently, and it was honestly one of the most exciting experiences I’ve ever had! I was a bit nervous at first, but the staff were super friendly and reassuring. They explained everything clearly and made sure we felt safe and comfortable before taking off.

Once I was up there, all the nerves disappeared—the views were absolutely stunning, and flying through the air gave me such an adrenaline rush! The zip lines vary in length and height, which makes the whole experience even more fun and dynamic.

What I really appreciated was how well-organized everything was. The park is clean, the gear is well-maintained, and the whole vibe is just positive and energizing. It’s perfect whether you're going with friends, family, or even solo like I did.

I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of adventure and a break from the usual routine. I’m already planning...

The site is well presented, well looked after. Check in is a bit of a timely process, (you need more staff at reception) be sure to check the weight restrictions before paying, I saw a few upset families who missed out and this place operates a no refund policy. The activities are great and you will enjoy them however they are a little pricy, again be sure to read all the policy documents especially the required PPE like gloves, for some of the rides you will need gloves and they won’t let you ride without them, conveniently they do sell them but you won’t like the price!!! Fantastic viewing area with restaurant above, does help to kill the time while you wait however, it is very expensive so I’d suggest brining your own food and drink. Wait times for the rides are very long and seem to run late, make sure to use the loo before suiting up, you won’t get another chance to use the loo once you’ve got...
