Lovely tucked away part of history that has been well preserved in this quiet little area. We visited around one o’clock on a sunny day and only saw a few other people. It’s a quiet place and has a peaceful atmosphere. The entrance to get it may be a little confusing as you have to park in the entrance to a private property labelled as a camp site and cafe. From there, walk straight down the road you drive down to the parking and turn right. On the other side of the fence where an alpaca will be, follow the path next to the brick wall all the way to the bottom and you will find the entrance, it’s a small gate. The place is clean and perfect for something to do that isn’t time consuming.

Not a huge amount to see. I would say it would keep you occupied for about 20 minutes but there is a lovely restaurant directly next door and some llamas as you drive into the restaurant but to enter the ruins you have to park, walk out to the main road, turn right then right down a grass track for about 100 metres then enter through a small gate. Be careful as there are some steep steps down into the building as well as up onto the roof but combined with food and llamas would be a nice few hours for the family. Both parking and entrance to the ruins are free. Visited 12th July 2025

A small site, quite interesting. If you follow a sat' nav' it will take you to the entrance to Priory Farm restaurant and campsite, there is nowhere on the road to park. The entrance is via a small grass path from the main road. There are a few boards around the site giving some of the history. Worth a quick visit. Free to all.

Food delicious - service really bad. We had to ask at every stage, can we order please, can we have our mains please, can we order a drink, can we have some tap water ( which never came, we had to get it ourselves) waiting time in between starter and main was ridiculous. Then when we got our bill, they had added someone else's bar bill on to ours. Yes it's gonna be busy on mothers day, but if you can't cope then don't...
