Hidden gem! Played here on 7th July in a four ball visiting from Hertfordshire, and had a superb links experience. Course was immaculate, particularly the greens. The short par 4 first eases you into the round, but the relative simplicity is offset by nerves teeing off from a tiny tee box right in front of the clubhouse! This is followed by a challenging but brilliant front 9, including a stretch (5, 6, 7 and 8) along the North Sea coastline, which happened to mostly be into the teeth of a strong wind for us. Back 9 is just as fun and includes two woodland-style holes for some momentary respite on a windy day, before an excellent 3-hole finish. Practice facilities: large putting green (as immaculate as the course) and some nets to loosen up. Pro shop: extremely welcoming, and well-stocked. Particularly useful as one of our group left his golf shoes 120 miles away back home. Clubhouse: perfect to sit back and assess the scorecard damage. Highly recommend the homemade sausage roll. We had an excellent full english breakfast served by lovely friendly staff. We played 18 holes on a very nice well kept course after the round we went into the clubhouse for a couple of lagers at very reasonable prices a fantastic day out we will definitely be playing there again a big thankyou to all the staff who made our day very enjoyable. Read moreMy Dad, a member of a course in Surrey, is moving to Norfolk, so I took him here to look around. The course looked nice from the car park and we went into the clubhouse to order a coffee. We were told by the barman that they could only serve members! So much for a friendly welcome. Ridiculous... The golf pro was very nice and visitors are allowed to pay a green fee (just no drinks if not playing!!). Need to scrub up on the clubhouse...
