My 5 year old and I had an absolutely fascinating time visiting the museum yesterday. We arrived just in time for the guided tour which was really interesting. My son was captivated listening to the history and explanation of how each exhibit worked. He loved watching them being demonstrated as well. He is really interested in how things work anyway, particularly mills and pumps. Visiting the Wind Energy Museum has really sparked his imagination though. He enjoyed testing the turbines with different numbers of blades to see the impact on the amount of power generated.

Debra was extremely knowledgeable and gave a very interesting talk. She was good at engaging with the children there and answering questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back when we are in...

This is a lovely, informative, voluntary run museum, hosting a great collection of wind turbines/pumps, that could do with more people knowing about it! We were met by a very enthusiastic volunteer, who guided us round. It's a little off the beaten track, although the signs led us straight there. £5 for adults, £3.50 for children. I really enjoyed my visit to this unique outdoor museum. The person who did the guided tour was interesting to listen to and demonstrated some of the machines working as well as answering questions. If you enjoy engineering, or history or have an interest in alternative energy, I think you would enjoy it. The staff are friendly and the small cafe provided a proper pot of tea and a rather nice...

Broadland MGOC members visited museum this evening everyone thoroughly enjoyed their tour with a guide who had a wealth of knowledge. We opted to include a BBQ during our visit which was excellent and well presented tea served in China cup's not your everyday plastic or cardboard. Will return with my grandchildren during school holidays Thursday and Friday's see more on website. Excellent David
