Nice visitors centre with friendly staff, you can buy tea,coffee and light snack food, sit in or out. You can get a wheel chair into the centre to be able to sit out of the rain. The walking in this area is good and not strenuous, some public footpaths cross farm land so please keep your dog on a lead. If there are cows, calfs or bulls in the fields maybe think of an alternative route. The centre sits close to Hadrians wall, so easy access for the walkers. There are washing facilities at the rear of the centre and public toilets.

Only about a 15 minute walk from car park park up to the wall, and the setting of the wall here is stunning.
