Excellent museum. Lots of interesting displays and exhibits charting the history of military medicine. Some really interesting items. Bit depressing, all the ingenious ways of maiming, and the no less ingenious ways of trying to fix the damages. We spent around 1.5hours there, lots to read and look at. Toilets available. Car park at entrance to barracks. The museum is free to enter and inside the barracks, so check website to what ID you need to show to enter barracks. Logical time line for the exhibits if you follow the recommended route. A small shop is there as well as an archive of RAMC publications. The books on sale are very interesting on the them if medical services and nursing. Soon this will move to Cardiff as the Barracks will no longer belong to the Army Medical Services. All staff were welcoming and lovely (including the military staff on the gate). Took 3 x kids and the museum was geared up for them - with activity sheets to keep them engaged. Lots of information and appealing visual aids for younger visitors.
