Godrevy Lighthouse is such a beautiful sight! Standing proudly on its little island just off the coast, it looks absolutely stunning from the distance, especially against the backdrop of the sea and sky. There’s something really magical about seeing it across the water – it feels both dramatic and peaceful at the same time. The surrounding area is just as lovely, with sweeping views along the coastline and plenty of great spots to stop and admire the scenery. Whether you’re walking the cliffs, relaxing on Godrevy Beach, or simply pausing to take it all in, the lighthouse makes the view truly special. An iconic Cornish landmark that never disappoints – well worth a visit!

The view from the cliff in front of the lighthouse is amazing. On one side there is the little island with the lighthouse, which looks more as a painting than as a lighthouse. On the other side, to the far left, there is a beach with people surfing, playing or just walking. You can just stay there, laying on the grass, for hours watching this spectacle. In addition, there are also some rocky cliffs and a rocky beach which can be seen from the top of the hill which also look amazing.

A long walk meant the sun had clouded over by the time i got to the other end of 3 mile beach as near to the lighthouse as i could get, still it was an enjoyable walk even if the lighthouse couldn't be reached because of the sea, it's on an island, why on earth don't national trust build a nice bridge to it. That would be the day. And no Seals to take selfies with either, just a cuddly hedgehog on the exposed Godrevy point headland

Beautiful location; very good chance of seeing seals the other side of the point to the car park. Stunning beach with views of St Ives town. Disappointed that public toilets were closed (I know it's out of season but that doesn't mean we don't need the facilities!) and the main car park was closed, so we had to queue for about 10 minutes for just a few spaces in a very pitted lay by area, and still had to pay. Come on National Trust, keep up the amenities for those who come out of season! Great cafe (privately owned and run) in the dunes: freshly prepared food, veggie options and...
