Never met such a rude lady. Wow. She really does not want to be there. I felt so uncomfortable. My husband stood waiting outside as I went to loo before the waterfall. She ran outside and said ' are you coming in or what' really rudly my husband whos a paramedic who is used to people's attitudes was even shocked. We were polite anyways because that's who we are. my husband said yes but my wife is at toilet. He asked if you could pay card she said no cash only. We said that's a shame no worries. 5 minutes later she came back out after I finished changing our son and she shouted are you coming in then????? My husband said we dont have cash so we are going to give it a miss. She said fine ill take card??? She pulled out a card machine from under the desk 🤣🤣🤣🤣 SHE HAS A CARD MACHINE PEOPLE. It is not cash only. to get the pram through the gate we needed a code which she told me outloud then told me put it in and take the chain off myself 🤣🤣🤣 which i did. But felt strange trying to do this with a pram lol needs to be a better system. me and my husband laughed it off. But honestly shes horrendous rude🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nice waterfall. Ridiculous pricing for what it is when cotter force 5 mins away is free.and the lady needs to go home Im assuming shes the owner because no way would a normal staff member get away with being that rude to costumers. They'd be sacked instantly.

In reply to the owners, if it was us that were the problem why is there loads of reviews and why did other family's have issues with her attitude? Look at the cameras we were really polite. IThats all anyone was talking about. I said absolutely nothing to her back because of her age. How do you know we are not battling a chronic disease or illness? The costumers that come through the door could be a second away from breaking, poorly, dying?Gives no one a right to be rude. If shes tired, give her a day off not make an 71 lady work.... Also saying she had issues with the card machiene? She literally took two seconds to put in the amount? Had absolutely no issues what so ever. Same with the gate , we seen her open it without issue. Why not make it simpler for her if youve been saying in reply to all these reviews about her rudeness that shes partially blind? You cant keep justifying someone's rudeness and giving her a million excuses. Look at all the reviews and comments made online about it. Someone even asked about her in the pub?

By sounds of your response which ive seen to your previous replies about her redness. She clearly needs to...

A fabulous walk and worth experiencing the waterfall. It's £4 for adults, I didn't notice the other prices. It's a privately owned waterfall and the price is very reasonable and goes towards the upkeep of the attraction. If you take the low path, it stays pretty much on a level but might be a little bit muddy, depending on the weather. If you cross the last bridge on the lower path over to the left, you can get closer to the waterfall but it's also worth viewing on the right-hand side. If you take the higher path route to see the top of the waterfall, at the green and yellow marker on the route in, you can take the path up to the top on the right. There are fewer steps going up this way, than if you cross the bridge on the left and go to the top of the waterfall that way. The downside.. It would be harder walking down the steps on the way back if you did the circular route taking the green route first. It's quite high up once at the top but it is well-fenced off and is less obvious because of all the huge trees. You can get a glimpse of the waterfall through the trees on the way up or down, for a different viewpoint. There are loads of different fungi on the walk (August) If you like taking photos in nature, it feels quite prehistoric with all the ferns. There is a lovely little cafe that accepts cash and cards. It has outdoor seating and some indoor seating. A very nice pot of tea we had too, generous with the tea bags. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. Sitting outside, you may get visits from a robin and sparrows that may fly to the tables, which I loved. The lower path is suitable for wheelchairs and we saw several people with walking sticks along this route. I recommend a visit if you are...

Hardraw Force Waterfall in Yorkshire is a natural wonder that left me awe-inspired by its sheer beauty and serene surroundings. Tucked away in the Yorkshire Dales, this waterfall offers an enchanting escape from the bustling world. Upon reaching the waterfall, the sense of anticipation was palpable, and I was not disappointed. The moment I set eyes on the cascading water, I was struck by its majestic presence. The water tumbled down from a considerable height, creating a mesmerising display of power and grace. The sound of the rushing water added to the immersive experience, filling the air with a soothing rhythm. The natural setting of Hardraw Force is equally breathtaking. Surrounded by lush greenery and rocky formations, the waterfall is a true testament to the untouched beauty of nature. The well-maintained pathways and viewing platforms allowed for safe and convenient exploration while preserving the delicate ecosystem. One of the unique aspects of this waterfall is its accessibility through the historic Green Dragon Inn. The charming approach through the inn's courtyard added an element of surprise and adventure to the visit, making it feel like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. The sense of tranquilly that enveloped the area was truly rejuvenating. It's an ideal place to sit back, listen to the water's melody, and simply soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you. In summary, Hardraw Force Waterfall is a must-see destination for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone seeking a moment of tranquilly amidst breathtaking scenery. Its raw, untouched beauty, combined with the immersive sound and setting, creates an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Yorkshire's...

We visited the water fall over the weekend and what a beautiful sight it was. We had driven over an hour and for us it was worth it. We were the first people to get there and it was really quiet and peaceful there. It's £4 an adult entry and I know a lot of people don't like that they have to pay which I can understand but I can also appreciate the upkeep costs, as it was spotless and the area well maintained. The only thing I would say is that the elderly lady was insisting that we pay with cash (which lets be honest not many people carry in this day and age), only after trecking to the car and back as I didn't realise you had to even pay, did she then say we can use card as I didn't have enough spare change. Which frustrated me as she should have just offered that in the first place really. I have read reviews today that said similar things around her not being comfortable with the card machine and therefore not offering it. I watched her use the tablet, it was very straight forward. My suggestion would be that she is given a simple guide on using the tablet for card payments that she can refer to, as that would resolve all the issues people have with the card payments. Other than that it was a lovely walk, the staff were friendly and the elderly women as we returned said she thought we'd got lost. We'd been gone over an hour as we just loved the peacefulness so much. Don't forget to take the steps up to the top of the waterfall too! Would definitely return again
