The Union Bridge offers a unique experience to walk across a bridge from England and arrive in Scotland on the other side. The bridge is a remarkable piece of engineering and back in 1820 it was the longest wrought iron suspension bridge in the world. More recently it has undergone a £10 million+ restoration and is quite a sight to see. Well worth seeking out if you're passing this area.
