Fitties Beach — Attraction in Humberston

One of the best beaches in the area..superb on a sunny day the sand banks just off shore can be safely visited when the tide is at its lowest .. there's a creek you can walk across ...just beware of the incoming tides when visiting the sandbanks ...in fact use Google to find the tide times and as soon as the tide starts to turn get back to the main beach sharpish as the creek can fill up quickly...even with out the sun on a misty day there's plenty of crabs to catch..take some string/ some cheap bacon offcuts and a bucket... there are some large ones...

Busy parking at peak afternoon but got lucky with a spot. And free... bonus! Ice cream van in the car park. No toilets (that I could see). Brilliant open beach for dogs. A long walk down to the centre of Cleethorpes for kids but a great walk none the less. Plenty of benches and places to sit. Lovely cafe just past the leasure centre (lots of ice cream flavours... winning!)

Not the worst public toilets just behind the cafe (never come across them have no toilet paper) Great days spent here away from the busy main beach....

My go to beach for exercising my dog through the summer months. Driving through the chalets is always enlightening. Free parking, and easy access make this location suitable for less able too. There's no toilet facilities so for some it might be a short stay. The fitties community have every right to pride themselves on the cleanliness and running of this jewel of coastal areas. It's also an entrance/parking for RSPB...
