We (a family of 5 - 3 kids age 5 to 9) have just spent the last 5 days and nights at Canopy. In the words of my 9yr old "This is the best holiday I've ever had".

We skated every day, cooked amazing food on the purpose built fire pits and camped in the beautiful grounds of the Canopy Site. All three of my kids smashed their personal targets for tricks of the week, on the first day. Hamish ran an instructor led (4hr) session for them, after which they were stoked and had each learnt multiple new tricks.

Hamish obviously has a wealth of experience in skateboarding but also his teaching is outstanding. Each of my kids left Canopy not only much better skaters but also their general confidence had improved significantly.

The camping area is brilliant, nice and rural/quiet but close (5 minute drive)to some beautiful quiet beaches. We strongly recommend Canopy Skatepark to skaters and non-skater's alike. If you're looking for a beautiful campsite and 5* indoor skatepark, then you have to visit Canopy! We travelled all the way from West Cornwall and we're already planning our next trip!

Well done...

Canopy Skatepark and Corve Campsite is amazing! Beautiful location, great facilities, fantastic hosts and close to local amenities.

The skatepark is great for all abilities and is a brilliant environment for beginners to feel comfortable and encouraged to get on their board and give it a go! They will also have the opportunity to have support to learn from Hamish who is a qualified skateboard instructor and has devoted his skills and passion to create the perfect skatepark to learn and progress on skateboards and scooters etc.

The campsite is laid out with privacy in mind but also has a lovely feel of community and inclusion. They have a range of pitches for tents, campervans and also stunning glamping yurts. Along with that there are toilet and shower blocks, a dishwashing area, fire pits for cooking and chilling round and electric hook ups.

Can’t wait to go back as soon...

Absolutely awesome. Took my 7yo sons here while we were over on holiday - they'd never stood on a board before, just zipping around on scooters. Within an hour Hamish had them going solo down ramps and absolutely flying by the end of the instructor lead session (which was an total bargain at $10 including equipment hire). A really sound instructor and thoroughly nice guy, filled me and my boys with confidence. The whole place has been put together with so much care and it's all so smooth, the boards just seem to roll and roll. I can't rate this place highly enough - what I would have given to have access to somewhere like this thirty years ago! Already booked back in for another go before we leave and I can't imagine coming back to the island and not...

Epic little gem tucked away in the south corner on the Isle of Wight. Lovely wooden indoor park that's well looked after and clean. With multiple sessions over the day. Also for those that want to stay a while longer. There is a fantastic site to pitch a tent or for those that want to. Bell tents for the glamping experience. Clean toilets. Showers and fresh water on site. A lovely place to chill in the evening in the fire pit and a really dark sky to look at the south coasts protected near dark skies. Hamish the guy that runs it is a true gent and couldn't do more to accommodate us in our visit. Will come back again and again.
