A peaceful viewpoint at the end of the Cotswold Way. On a clear day there are views down over the City of Bath as well as across to start of the Mendips and over towards Wales and the Severn estuary with both Severn bridges visible. Several routes to the "round top" are available, the most direct but steepest from Kelston village or via the Cotswold Way path or even through Bath race course as long as...

Lovely little spot with a great view! Well worth the walk up to the top, it's a nice bit of exercise and not too tough. There's a long way round and a steeper direct route from Kelston, well worth frequenting the pub before or after too! You can also work it in to longer walks should you so wish and do a much larger loop that takes in...

Super views over Bristol, Bath and the Avon valley. Good walk to get to the top wherever you start from. No amenities. Sometimes sheep in the field but not usually cows. Couple of seats and a triangulation station. Used to be a steady stream of easyJet and Ryanair aeroplanes turning above to line up for Bristol airport. Nearest pub...

Another All Trails dog friendly route -📍Kelston Round hill Circular Walk. (Dog friendly on leads) 4.6km’s⁣ - 14 mins from the centre of Bath. ⁣ This route we had walked before without Maisie so we knew it was a good one to give a go. We decided to do an out and back past the Coombe Barn Cottages as the other direction leads you through a field with cows grazing and we where not sure if they would be out this time of year. Even if you don’t go this way dogs must be kept on leads as there are also sheep on the route. ⁣ ⁣ The views from the top are beautiful and you can look across to see the Bristol suspension bridge. ⁣ ⁣ 🐾 🍷 finally we stopped at the dog friendly pub 📍The Old Crown Inn which had 4 fires 🔥 surrounding scattered seating throughout the pub with fire pits in the garden and you must see there garden lodge filled with yet more cosy fires, seating, fur blankets & another bar showing the rugby 🏉 #sixnations #dogfriendlyrestaurant #dogfriendlyuk #dogfriendlypub #dogfriendlybath #dogfriendlysomerset #dogtravel #dogdayout #dogwalking #dogwalksoftiktok #dogwalksuk #dogwalktips #dogwalkguide

Lovely walks here with my family. On a clear day you can see across to the old chocolate factory in Keynsham, the Clifton suspension bridge, and even the Severn Valley crossings. Awesome views wherever you look. You can park in the village and it’s a lovely (albeit steep) walk up. Can get very windy at times!

Great walk but the signage isn’t the best. Make sure you know your route before leaving! The views are incredible, we could see the Severn Bridge!
