Heacham South Beach is one of the few Beaches where dogs are welcome all year round. It is a beautiful beach, ideal for families and their four legged pets. So lovely to see dogs enjoying themselves in the sea too. The sunset reflections over the sea are breathtaking along this part of the coast. A must for photographers to get some spectacular shots. We travelled from Boston late afternoon and found the beach quite busy with families and people but we still had lots of space to take amazing photos of the sun setting, whilst enjoying a paddle in the sea. This beach is lovely to visit at any time of the year. Being a sunset lover, this is my absolute favourite beach. You can walk to Hunstanton along the beach. You'll find plenty of space for social distancing depending on the tide. On the North Beach the sea goes to the steps at high tide but the South Beach has sand dunes, so you will always find a sandy spot to enjoy the sea.

A fabulous place to visit day or night, Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter ♥️. This beach is dog friendly all year round and our two Labradors love it there. It’s also clean with very little litter although the sea can look muddy at times when the mud gets washed ashore. There are always birds on the beach and as you can see from my photos the sunsets there are amazing. In the holiday season there are usually people standing, watching in awe, taking photos with their phones or cameras as the sun sets over the sea- one of the few places you can see this on the East coast.

Nice beach, not busy at all which is great. The downside to this beach is that it is very stony beach, shoes/flip flops are a must as it is very painful to walk on. Also as the sand is very dark it makes the water look a muddy brown and also stains your skin like builders sand. I think there must be an army base nearby as you get quite a few army jets and helicopters passing overhead. I know that all sounds quite negative but it is a nice beach and my children loved it, so for them it was a 5 star.

Beautiful and not overcrowded beach. Dog friendly and beautiful views! Definitely visiting again! It has a pay parking but right in front of the beach entrance and there is a local dine place which is run by a family and has the most delicious fish and chips I have eaten and is dog friendly too which is just great. It has also public toilets near pay station at the parking. Easy access with wheelchair and at the entrance to the beach is a bench where you can sit and enjoy the views if you cant go forward or feel tired. People here are like from different planet : super friendly and polite (anyone we pass...
