I took my toddler (almost 3 yrs old) to the roarers play group today and she loved it ! I had visited before with work and in the last 4 years so much has been done to continually improve this site. It is so wholesome and Becky the group leader was so attentive to the children and families, offering us alternative ideas and activities to try whilst there. There were some parts where we joined the group and other parts where we explored on our own and it was a great opportunity for learning and fun! Can't wait to visit again. Be prepared to embrace nature with wet weather gear and be aware that the toilet is fully eco (compostable, no flush) but it was so refreshing to experience camp style life with a real open fire ! Read moreJust attended their summer 3 day forest festival with my 4 year old, staying in Badgers Hollow Shepherds Hut. The staff worked tirelessly to make sure we all had the best time, with activities on for all ages. We were crafting, wood working, climbing, swinging, shooting arrows, exploring and dancing all weekend. The camping site was really well equipped and has great options for both experienced and inexperienced campers. The hot water shower and flush toilets were a lovely bonus. Couldn't recommend visiting here enough and we will definitely be attending more of their events...
