National Trust - Lantivet Bay — Attraction in Lanteglos

First time visiting this place in Cornwall! And it was absolutely fantastic, we travelled 4hours away to this destination and it was everything and more. Beautiful views, clear blue water, sandy beach. Its a must see destination if your in the area. Lots of walking paths that are clearly signed up and mapped out. Fairly open & fairly flat, stoney car park. Pay & Display. Cash only or National Trust members park for free when membership card is scanned. Toilets - basic but do what they need to. Walk to Lantivet Bay starts opposite car park entrance - be careful crossing the road. Walk to Polperro is steep in places with 2 sets of 90+ steps. Walking poles are helpful. Take water & snacks. Hike to Polperro takes about 1.5 to 2hrs at a leisurely pace. Amazing views. Mind the edge!!...

Looks nice from a distance, walk down and back up I would think twice if older and not steady on feet. Beach was ok but lots of sea weed and flies when we went in July. Ruined the day a bit constantly waving them off you or anything eating. We were walking our dog so was good for this as dog friendly and would say because of the above not that busy so was ideal for this. Better beaches around if looking for day out at the...
