Read moreFirle Place opens to the public only on certain days, and my sister and I visited during the garden show in April. We spent a good four hours there and felt it was well worth the visit. Tickets were about £10 each, with an additional cost to enter the Girls Place house.

Families are well catered for too, with activities like egg hunts and a kids’ entertainment area. The venue also hosts weddings, which could be perfect if you’re planning a special day. Overall, it was a lovely outing with lots to enjoy...
Read morespent a couple of hours doing the guided tour in the house, this was well worth the money. Very informative guide and plenty of beautiful ornaments and furniture to admire, including a couple of Chippendales. Firle House itself isn't huge but the landscape surrounding the house is beautiful. I'm not saying the house isn't beautiful, I'm just saying that the landscape it's set in is stunning. The fair is excellent but unless the entrance and exit strategy can be improved I won't be going again. Would go to any of the other smaller events there as it is such a great venue. Would love to see antiques...
