Mangersta Beach — Attraction in Lewis and Harris

The islands of Lewis and Harris are such a paradise of the far north and you will find hundreds of places like this here. We got here in the evening where the whole area was for us and the atmosphere of this place was amazing. Peace and silence broken only by the breaking waves of the ocean. The location of this place means that you will not find crowds here (as everywhere on these islands) and you will feel like in untouched terrain somewhere far from civilization. A beautiful beach with magnificent rocky surroundings. If you follow Google Maps to this location it will take you to an unmarked roadside parking area with a gate and path that leads to the beach, a 5 minute walk at most. The beach itself is relatively small and can be walked from one side to the other in 5 minutes. When I visited, there were only a handful of people here, ideal if you enjoy a solitary experience. This is a hidden gem on the island, where you are able to overlook the beach up on the cliff edge as well as experience the sand and water down on the beach.
