Kneep Beach — Attraction in Lewis

Absolutely amazing place. Breathtaking. Especially when driving from the south side of the island it will appear on the horizon. White sands like from the islands of Oceania. The composition of the color of water, sand and sky really creates the image of a Scottish paradise. Yes ... Scottish! Considering the location of these islands and their accessibility, you will not meet crowds here. I will say more beaches will be almost for you...

Second best beach in the island! Worth a visit! If you are going there you can stay in a campsite just outside in Cliff which costs a fiver and you can put it in the honest box, no facilities tho. But you have the best shop to do your shopping in a comunity shop in Uist, which has a gas station...

We loved this beach. Easy walk from the public car park at the campsite facility block. There is a very clean public bathroom with a toilet and a meter controlled shower. I think it was £1 for 3 or 4 minutes. We used this after we had a lovely hour paddleboarding and packed up....
