Amazing day out for all the family young and old. You can make it last a good half a day even with very young and almost a teenager both was still amused for the whole visit there. The staff were great the internet was down so couldn't take payment when we arrived and didn't turn us away like a lot of places would we managed to pay before leaving the museum whilst we were there before we had payed not knowing if we could pay the staff still treated us amazing they spoke with my two children gave lots of answers to questions about the museum. They made a special effort too fetch some old guns from storage somewhere. So my children could hold them feel the weight and pose for photos with them. I will say the museum wasn't very busy when they did this so may not always do this for customers so my boys felt very privileged being allowed to do this, and this was all before the internet was sorted for the card machine before we had payed or knew if we could pay so the two gentlemen that volunteer there where spot on couldn't of asked for two nicer men to work there. As we were leaving one of the staff come running out and gave us a card that entitles our family for the year we didn't realise this and believed it was the family price for each visit they also gave us a pack full of activities of colouring and craft activities. We will definitely return hopefully when an event is on great staff very interesting museum and a look into what past wars were like. Thank you very much for...

Nestled in the heart of Staffordshire, The Staffordshire Regiment Museum is a hidden gem that offers a deeply immersive and personal look into military history. While it may be a small museum, it more than makes up for its size with its charm, dedication, and well-curated exhibits.

The real highlight of the museum is its passionate and knowledgeable staff. Their commitment to preserving and sharing the history of the Staffordshire Regiment is evident in every conversation and exhibit. Whether you’re a military enthusiast or a casual visitor, they go above and beyond to ensure an engaging experience, bringing history to life with fascinating stories and insights.

The museum itself is well-organized, featuring an impressive collection of artifacts, uniforms, weaponry, and personal accounts from soldiers who served in the regiment. The outdoor trench system is a standout attraction, offering visitors a rare chance to step back in time and experience the conditions of World War I soldiers. Despite its modest size, the museum provides an in-depth and moving tribute to those who served.

The Staffordshire Regiment Museum proves that smaller museums can be just as impactful—if not more so—than larger institutions. Its welcoming atmosphere, dedicated staff, and rich historical narrative make it a must-visit for anyone interested in military history. Highly...

A great day out. Paid about £6 for an adult entry. Interesting small museum detailing the history of the Staffordshire regiments through all the major conflicts up to present day. So many interesting artefacts from medals to equipment uniforms to artillery. So many fascinating objects in all of displays. A museum well set out and extremely interesting. Included in the admission price is access to mock trenches which are a real eye opener to what the soldiers must have experienced in WW1. There is plenty of information to educate you and also added sound effects! The trail through the woodland area although small has some fascinating information and also incredible stories on the various soldiers throughout WW1 & WW2. There is a lovely memorial to the fallen which then leads onto the WW2 static displays of a pillbox and Anderson shelter. The Air raid shelter also has the sound effects of an air raid which is quite unnerving to be honest! The museum staff are very friendly and helpful. I bought a picnic as there is not a permanent cafe. There are plenty of places to sit with a picnic. Parking was free and ample. There is even a small play area if you have children. The shop is small but you can purchase soft drinks and small toys and sweets. All in all a good day. Informative, enjoyable and quite...
