a hidden gem in dorset with a lovely relaxing garden and fantastic cream teas. its sad public access to the waterfall nearby is going in June which is a short walk from this lovely garden. The gardens are full of lovely flowers and vegetables. Its so relaxing, we was lucky enough to get in early and for a short time had the table and chairs in the garden to ourselves, it was so relaxing and the aromas of the garden are exquisite. After the garden we had a cream tea, it was really nice and the team working very friendly. Afterwards we had a drive through the countryside towards Weymouth and the views are amazing. The cafe was much bigger than expected with indoor sofas. Outside there are tables and umbrellas. The cafe has a toilet They have a really nice selection of cakes and scones, jam & cream. Make sure you visit the lake & the church. There is parking just outside the wall garden but most people park on the grass on the top road and walk around the village.
